A Beech - a form of poetry created by poet Beecher Smith. It is a 5 line poem with the syllables of each line corresponding to the number of the letter of the alphabet. B=2 so your first line must have 2 syllables E=5 therefore the next two lines have 5 syllables, C-3 so three syllables H=8 syllables so the last line has 8 syllables. Choose a word, count the syllables as in the example above and write a poem using that number of syllables per line

As far as I can see your poems do not follow this form but who cares? Perhaps I didn't explain very well that with this type of poem you take a five letter word and with each letter of that word you count its place in the alphabet. Whatever that number is must be the number of syllables on that line. So will the word 'ball' it would be b=2 syllables a=1 syllable l=11 syllables l=11 syllables it does limit the choice of words though as if you choose 'zebras' you would start with a 26 syllable first line!lol
